Where as, just over half required considerable editing before they could be reproduced and displayed in the museum. My 3-member graphics team was tasked with editing the supplied images, creating custom wall coverings and custom graphic displays. I completed 50% of the edits, 80% of the wall coverings, and all of the vector graphics ranging from paint masks on the beer barrels to typesetting artifact labels. I learned a lot about print organization since there were so many graphics ranging both in size and placement. Without proper print grouping, they could end up with the wrong backer substrate or overlaminate.
The Anheuser Busch Museum is located in the Old School House on the original campus of the Anheuser Busch Brewery in St. Louis, MO. This was a huge collaboration between: AB’s extensive onsite archives, PGAV, and Innovations in Art. All artifacts, photos, and original advertisements were provided by AB’s archives. The concept design for both the graphics and interior architecture was done by PGAV. All art was either edited or created off of concept, then produced and installed by Innovations in Art. All supplied scans or photographs required basic editing, such as cropping or lighting.
